"Victoria Beckham‘s upcoming Netflix documentary series is finally able to name its director. Nadia Hallgren, who directed the Michelle Obama doc 'Becoming,' is helming the show, Variety can reveal.
The as-yet-untitled series, which started production in August, will follow Beckham’s journey from Spice Girls superstardom in the ‘90s to modern fashion maven. As per the logline, 'Her Posh Spice days may be behind her, but today Beckham is on a journey to build a fashion empire — and now, fans will be able to see the story behind it all.'"

Longtime broadcast journalist and author Jane Pauley and documentarian/director Alex Gibney have been tapped to receive lifetime achievement awards at the 45th annual News & Documentary Emmys. The honors were revealed Wednesday by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
“I am grateful, humbled and deeply honored by this award,” Gibney said. “While it has my name on it, it is also a powerful recognition of the work of my collaborators over the years, including my producers, cinematographers and, most especially, editors. When the members of KATSEYE, the new global girl group from Korea’s HYBE and America’s Geffen Records, were announced live on YouTube and Weverse in the final part of the Dream Academy competition series in November 2023, it was excruciating to watch. Ten girls, ranging from age 15 to 21, stood on stage holding hands, exhausted from months of breakneck training. Only six would be chosen for the much-anticipated girl group.
